Starts with goodbye.

I'm not much of a country music fan, but recently while riding in a car with one of my neighbors, i heard a great song that made me appreciate country music just a little bit more....

My neighbor Katey, who is really more of a family friend; is going through a rough break up with her boyfriend of seven almost eight years, and the father of her year old daughter Carlee. Basically, they hit a rough spot and are unable to fix it, so slowly they are splitting up, and it is really sad. I feel so bad for her, because the dreams she has to make the "perfect" life for her daughter are slowly crashing down. It is a hard thing to watch, especially from Carlee's point of view, but i just keep telling myself everything happens fro a reason, and try to see the good that will come out of this situation...

anyway the other day the whole scenario really hit Katey hard. we were driving to her parents house about 30 minutes away to pick Carlee up from a day with Oma and Opa, we were listening to some sad, makes you wanna cry music, and it did its' job. Katey started crying and the tears kept rolling. One of the songs we listened to was by Carrie Underwood. it was called, "Starts With Gtoodbye". we all were really paying attention to the lyrics, and they hit home for Katey and me to tell the truth.

I have heard some of Carries songs before, and i love getting down to some honkey tonk type music every once in a while, but this was a song i had never heard before. My cousin Kristina, is a huge fan of Carrie Underwood, and is always belting out one of her tunes whenever i see her, which always makes me happy, but this song really made me love carrie. First off, she has an amazing voice that sounds so beautiful with the type of music she plays, and secondly shes so pretty!

anywho ill stop yapping and let you hear the song, enjoy!

Lots to say

I have a lot to say now, because I never update this darn thing! Because I never really have time...

Okay so there are a few things to address...school is almost out! In fact, including the three half days we have during finals, there are only 3 and a half days left...and the rest of today. It is crazy how fast time is going by. I remember the very first day of freshman year like it was yesterday. Litterally. I cant get it through my head that I am going to be a senior, its almost unimagineable. Maybe next year when I am getting ready to walk down the graduation isle, then it will sink in. Next year is going to be fun. I'm going to be driving, with a car=D Taking college classes at some pre-college high school for half the day, and regular senior classes here at Wooster for the other half of the day. I will hopefully by then be working more steadily, and have mroe money so that I can do everything I want to do next year. Like prom, dances, senior sunrise and sunset, etc. etc. etc. I really can't wait. I just hope everything runs as smoothly as I hope. I'm sure there will be some glitches but hopefully nothing too bad.

Thsi time of eyar is a stressfult iem ebcause I am getting ready for finals, which emans a lot of studying and such. Its crunch time. I am trying to raise my math grade a bit so that if I am to do really ba don the final, i can still pass the class. But its hard, my teahcer is pretty bitchy and the material is really hard. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Most of the other classes I am taking are pretty straight forward and i should be able to do fine on those finals.

okay moving on. so for the last week or so, Simrri and I have been going over to Wooster and running about every other night. It feels good to work out and feel accomplished. I am sooo slow though let me tell you that! lol One lap feels like ten minutes by the time I am done, but it is okay I will get better.

So this summer! I cant wait! It is going to be a great time. The wedding, seeing family, and everything els.e I really can't wait. I feel like I am going into this summer more prepared then last summer. I have a plan of things to do, and IDK just seems more legit ya know? I am really happy that I am going ot be able to spend so much time with my family this year. Last year was pretty hectic, and it seemed like James and I were locked in Grandpas house half the time. Which was still fun, but I want to get out more. I really plan on going to Seattle this summer. I havnt been there since like Fourth grade. Even then I didnt get to explore the city per say. Which is ultimately what i want to do. I a counting down the days until summer vacation because I truly cant wait.=]

After Spring Break

first off, this blog has a lot of errors, and i have no time to fix them...but enjoy!

Okay so now that it is well over, and all the hoop la and such is done and delt with, this is my look back on the te days overall.

First off: Work. It went as planned for the most part, i was on a wacky schedule of hours and shifts, but all with the same age group which was for the best. I would have much rather preferred working with the Koalas...or better known as the four and five year olds. but, hey, you get what you get. I was just happy to have the hours. So going to work everyday was sort of stressfull simply because I wasnt used to the idea of a full 8 sometimes 10 hour day everyday. And the hours that i was working didnt allow for me to create a pattern. Every day was hot, and it seemed perfect because mother nature created this gorgeous, bareable weather just in time for spring break! I was thrilled abou tthat, but nt so thrilled about enjoying it from the confort of an un-air conditioned building filled with 30+ toddlers, and one pretty bitchy morning teacher. Or better yet from the bee infested side yard where the children seemingly fried for four hours a day. But neverthless, it was enjoyable at best.

Now let me tell you about those darn bees, they are your typical yellow and black with the occasional red, and orange working, high class, american bees...only these bees are at a great disadvantage because their nest is smack dab in the middle of a playground that is always filled with curious children who love to throw sticks and rocks...and with that said, during the five days at work i saw my share of alligator tears, stemmed from the fright of a bee sting. Even in the mirrior! Yes! I got stung too, right on the edge of my big toe, and man oh man I was not happy. It hurt, and on top of that I broke out in some sort of allergic reaction that didn't go over too well with my boss when i had to leave work to get some tlc. In the end i was presented with a check for 20= hours with the amount of...drum roll please..... $105.06. Yeah, what a downer, but oh well, It was my fault for expecting more.=/

Second: Friends/socializing. I really didnt leave myself enough time to so anything special with my friends. Yers of course I spent most of my freetime talking about boys and fantasizing about what to do with my paycheck with Elizabeth, but that is typical. I do it everyday...not that i dont love it though! But as I look back now, I sincerely wish I would have given myself more time to do something out of the orodinary. It wasnt until the weekend before school started that the steady flow of friends im used to kicked in. Daisy stopped by a couple times just to chat and hang out, Simrri too. And after I payed Aly a surprise visit, I felt that the friendship circle so to speak had become complete.

Third: Easter. Okay so this years Easter was rather low key compared to other years. There was no dress shopping for a cute Easter outfit, no egg hunting even for Jayme, and nothing besides church that really made me feel Eastery. Of course I knwo that isnt the reason for the season, but honestly i like the feeling of gettign ready, making a big dinner, sharing it with friends and fmaily, and just the whole Easter jitters in general. This year we didnt even have a big dinner. We had a small ham which is sadly still somewhere in the fridge 1/3 eaten, scalloped potatoes, and deviled eggs, but that was a small meal compared to other years like i said. Actually, it seems that since we have moved here to reno that we never really have big holiday celebrations. i guess it seems like a waste to create such a big deal over so little. Its only me, mom, and grandma, and Jayme, and sometiems it is too much work. I think i was so accustomed to my grandma Dell and aunt Judy already having an extravagant meal reading and on the table when the crown of family arrived. That was always a treat, and I obviously never thought about how much they really put into it.

anyway moving on, this spring break was eventful, yet lazy, and honestly I couldnt have asked for more. A productive ten days with no school!

spring break

So I am still waiting to see this on my spring break:
but I know that wont be for a while. With spring break '09 starting this coming Monday, I am not even excited like I usually am. Maybe that is because I have no big plans, or maybe it is because i know it will still be filled with homework, deadlines, and work. Rather then relaxing, swimming and sun bathing in Cabo. ha! Today I just talked to my boss at work and she scheduled me up for the whole week from 1-6pm. So basically the whole day. But hey I guess I have to look at the bright side and see all the money I will make...in fact let me do the calculations... $7.50 and hour times 5 hours for four days is uhm....$37.50 x4 days is ...... $150 bucks plus the Thursday of that week where I will work 8 and a half hours...okay I am done with the math, it is basically 200 buck-a-roons and for that I am thankful! Either way somethings just are never the same and this year, it is spring break. Maybe I am growing up =/

The VIP's in my life

So to really get this party started I think you should know what my life is all about. you should get to know the people who make me the way I am. So to start off, this is Elizabeth; she is more then a best friend, she is a sister. We met freshman year since we were neighbors, and ever since then we have been imseperable. Our families are close, our houses are close, and our lives always involve eachother. We have the best times in the world together and most of the time end up in trouble because of it. But in the end, we keep eachother grounded and on the right path. She means a lot to me, and sometimes I really don't know where I would be without her. In these three and a half short years, we have become so close. Life would be harder if she wasn't there for me, and I am very thankful I found a friend like her. She makes me smile, laugh...sometimes cry, but no matter what happens her and I will always have a respect for eachother that only sisters could share=] Next up is Aly! My Aly bear! The one girl who I can honestly say has been there through everything for me. No matter what has happened in the past, or what will happen in the future, I know that I can count on her. She tells me the truth, not just what I want to hear. She watches my back and makes sure that I am treated right. And the thing that I like the most is that she really cares. Finding a friend like her in high school is hard. People might say they are there for you, but when you need them the most they don't show. That is what makes me respect her so much. She knows what she wants, she will go far in life, and she would never let other people bring her down. I learn a lot from her, and I think everyone could. She also means a lot to me, and without her, high school would have been a mess. Okay so now Daisy Dukes. aka Miss Daisy! This girl never fails to make me laugh. Everytime I hang out with her, she has a new, outrageous story to tell about the weirdest things. Between her love of spiderman and her Native American-ness she is the most unique peson I have ever met. Not to mention the most talented. She can bust some major moves on the dance floor, belt out a song that would give you chills, and bead a pair of moccasins all in one day=] lol. But on a serious note, she is one amazing girl whos positive attitude never fails to rub off on you. I really need to spend more time with her. I value her friendship and her personality. She has too many of my days a little brighter to count, and that's a good thing by the way! Last but deffinately not least...my baby brother Jayme. Just to let you know, there is no amount of space on any blog that would be big enough for all I have to say about him. We have been through so much together, and through it all he has stuck by my side. He is my hero, because he inspires me all the time to do better for him. I know that in the end he will always have me even if he has no one else. And that alone is enough to make me do good. Even when we fight (all the time) we both know that life moves on, and things always get better. When I say that without him I would have nothing, that is an understatement. Without him, I would be nothing. He is really my life, and sometimes i wish our relationship was better, or ran smoother, but he knows I love him, and I never forget to tell him, so I guess that is good enough. I love his stinky, tattling butt

...and so the story goes;

This here blog should allow me to release my emotions in a "safe" place for all to see right? Sounds good to me. You know, I have a myspace page and a facebook, but blogging on there dosn't really seem legit. Those sites are more social and there are probably some aspects of life that I would prefer not to brodcast on those pages for all to see. So with the inspiration of my blog-ful sister and the necesity to vent sometimes, I created this blog. Hopefully you enjoy it and get to know the real me through it...eh?

peace.
